Note: for those that aren’t particularly familiar with PGSM, Shin is Kunzite in civilian form. At this point, Queen Beryl is in the midst of having him awaken as Kunzite, causing him to lose his own memories. He meets Usagi and Mamoru and feels that he knew them before, since he is free of his present life’s memories, he is recalling knowing them in the past life.
I kinda wish Rei’s grandpa had shown up in PGSM.
He’d probably either be hilarious or badass. I know he wasn’t that important a character in the manga, which is what PGSM drew more of its inspiration from, but then again neither was Motoki that much and he played a huge role. Maybe I’m just a sucker for “awesome old man” characters.
